Hermit Mode
After a solid summer with the new lineup, we’ve cranked out a number of new songs that we’re really excited about. For those of you who came out to some of the recent shows you probably know a lot of them by now.
We’re going into hermit mode for the next few months to polish off the really good ones and record a new EP. Even better, we have renowned local producer / mixer / engineer Justin Long (U.S. Royalty “Mirrors”, Hotspur “You Should Know Better By Now”) on board to push us to the next level.
Simply put… we can’t wait to show you the new music. That’s it for now, we’ll keep you updated as we go.
We play tonight @ Bella Cafe, show starts at 9 p.m.
This will be a fun one. We’re playing with Philly band, Atomic Square, and DC rocker, Cosmonaut.

Photos from Frederick show!
Thanks to Craig Shipp for taking these cool shots. We’ll be up in Frederick again soon!
Frederick Gig tomorrow, July 2nd
We’re playing on a street corner in Downtown Frederick, MD for July 4th weekend festivities. We’ll be playing from 5 to 9 p.m. Just follow the sound of pure, unadulterated alt. rock and you’ll find us.
Here are some pictures from the STPP fest! The show went great and the new set up is sounding awesome. Thanks to all who came out to support us!
6/17/11 — Lit Lounge (NYC)
The Blue Line is heading up to NYC on June 17 to play The Lit Lounge! Check out all the details on the Facebook page and be sure to RSVP!
STPP fest is this weekend!

There are a ton of awesome bands playing at the festival with us. We’ll be playing at the ‘1920’ venue on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Share the music
I’m finally buying a macbook or a lenovo so we can start making rough recordings of the new jams and start editing video/audio for live performances! Since it’s going to be a while before the new EP is released, I thought it would be cool to share the new music in other ways.
Originals and Covers
We are still writing songs with our new drummer and guitarist; they will be on some sort of EP/album in the near future. We’re up to 5 new original songs and they are all awesome, upbeat jams! We’re also going to play some covers when we play public stages. So far we’ve got ‘Meant to Live’, ‘Float on’, and now ‘Reptilia’! Let us know if you want to hear The Blue Line cover any other songs! Hit us up at thebluelinedc@gmail.com or post on our facebook wall.
